Bracken Fern (Pteridium aquilinum)
Toxic. Some people eat the green fiddleheads after soaking them in salty water for
1h or more; then, boiling them for about 10 minutes. However, the possibilities to
develop cancer or immune deficiency sicknesses, as a consequence, are not worth it.
It can be used to make soap and as an insect repellent.
